The new feature relies on integrating Gemini technologies deeper into the system, allowing the phone to understand what appears on the screen and interact with different applications to carry out multiple tasks without the need to manually navigate between applications.
Google said that “Gemini Intelligence” will be able to carry out complex tasks using simple commands in natural language, such as booking a flight, ordering food, or automatically creating a shopping list based on notes or photos on the phone.
The user will also be able to share a screenshot with “Gemini” to convert its content into direct practical actions.
The company explained that the new system was developed to work seamlessly with third-party applications, including transportation and delivery applications and daily services, with a focus on reducing the manual steps required of the user.
Google also announced the integration of “Gemini” into the Chrome browser on Android, so that the user will be able to summarize Internet pages or perform some tasks directly from the browser, such as filling out forms or making reservations automatically via the “Auto Browse” feature.
The updates were not limited to phones only, as the company confirmed that “Gemini Intelligence” will later expand to include smart watches, cars, smart glasses, and laptops, as part of Google’s vision to transform Android into an integrated smart system that works across various devices. (Erm News)
