The leadership of the State Security Service received a phone call from Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, in which he expressed his sincere condolences over the martyrdom of the members of the Service who died today as a result of the Israeli raids that targeted the city of Nabatieh.
Berri also expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured, following this attack that targeted one of the official centers of the state.
This call comes after the air strike that targeted the Nabatieh Governmental Serail building, where the headquarters of the Nabatieh Regional Directorate of State Security is located, which resulted in the martyrdom of 13 members while carrying out their duty, as stated in a statement by the General Directorate of State Security.
This attack sparked widespread condemnation at the official and political levels, in light of the escalation in the pace of Israeli attacks that targeted various institutions and regions in the south, coinciding with the continued military escalation and tensions related to the negotiations file.
