Israel adopts a strategy "Install sites" Instead of invading the south

Haaretz newspaper, citing sources in the Israeli army, reported that Israeli forces have reached the front lines in southern Lebanon, according to approved military plans.

The same sources stated that the forces currently deployed in the region are stationed in defensive positions within Lebanese territory, while avoiding entering into a more complex operational process at the present time.

These statements come in the context of an ongoing field escalation on the southern front, where Israel has intensified its air and artillery strikes on the cities and towns of the south and the Bekaa during the last hours, resulting in martyrs and wounded, and the scope of targeting has expanded to include new areas outside the usual scope of operations.

On the other hand, Hezbollah continues to carry out military operations against Israeli army sites and concentrations, in addition to targeting settlements in northern occupied Palestine with a barrage of missiles, as part of its response to the ongoing raids.

According to what the newspaper reported, the positioning of Israeli forces in defensive positions indicates an attempt to establish field deployment lines without engaging in a large-scale ground operation, in light of increasing Israeli warnings against expanding military operations, and the absence of any clear vision for calm.
