Samsung has begun distributing the beta version of the “One UI 8.5” user interface for its “Galaxy Z Fold 6” and “Galaxy Z Flip 6” foldable phones. The process has begun in South Korea as the first country to receive this update, with distribution expected to expand to other countries soon, including India, the UK and the US.
This launch comes after news spread in the past few days about the two phones being soon added to the beta program, which has now become a reality with the start of official availability.
The new interface includes notable visual changes that give the system a more modern look, as well as additional features aimed at simplifying use and enhancing the user experience on both devices.
To download this beta, users must open the Samsung Members app, search for and register for the beta program announcement for their device. After that, they can go to “Settings,” then “Software Update,” then choose “Download and Install” to get and install the update on their phone.
