Hezbollah’s military media announced, through successive statements, the implementation of a series of military operations on Sunday, 03/29/2026, as part of the “Battle of the Destructive Storm,” stressing that these operations were carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people.”
The party reported that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers in the town of Bayyada with artillery shells, resulting in direct casualties, which required the Israeli army to evacuate the injured under a thick smokescreen.
The party added that it targeted the Al-Malikiyah, Yaroun and Avivim settlements with a barrage of missiles, as part of a prior warning it had directed to a number of settlements located in northern occupied Palestine.
He also indicated that at 16:25, two Merkava tanks were targeted near the town of Beit Lev with guided missiles, confirming that direct hits were achieved, in addition to a clash with an Israeli force in the town of Shamaa from a very close range using light and medium weapons, which required the intervention of helicopters to evacuate the injured.
The statement stated that gatherings of soldiers were targeted in the areas of Deir Saryan, Aitaroun (Al-Khanouk area and Al-Shaqqa Plain), Al-Malikiyah, Al-Qantara, and Hula, in addition to targeting the Hadab Yaroun site, and a newly established artillery position in Arab Al-Louizeh, by a squadron of attack drones.
The party also announced the targeting of the Keila barracks and infrastructure in the Katzrin settlement in the occupied Syrian Golan, in addition to targeting the settlements of Yaroun and Nahariya with bursts of missiles.
In the same context, the party stated that a Hummer vehicle and a D9 bulldozer were targeted east of the Khiam prison camp by two attack drones, and a Merkava tank was destroyed in Maroun al-Ras during an attack that left members of the force dead or wounded.
Finally, the party announced that it had confronted an Israeli warplane in the airspace of Nabatieh with a surface-to-air missile, shot down an armed drone in the airspace of Mansouri, and targeted a helicopter in the airspace of Naqoura with an air defense missile and forced it to retreat.
