
Al-Ittihad Saudi Club announced on Saturday the addition of two illustrious names in its history, Mohammed Nour and Hamad Al-Montashari, to the club’s administrative staff.
The club explained in an official statement issued this evening that, out of its keenness to continue the path of development and prosperity, establish the foundations of stability, and make the most of the rich experiences enjoyed by the club’s members to serve its journey, it announces the appointment of “Mohamed Nour” and “Hamad Al-Mantashari” as advisors to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for football affairs.
The statement stressed that this decision comes as a strong support for the work system within the club, and to enhance cooperation and integration between all parties, in a way that serves the club’s ambitions in the next stage.
The Saudi Al-Ittihad Club is witnessing an oscillating season, as it lost the King’s Cup title after being defeated by Al-Khuloud Club on lucky kicks in the semi-finals.
The team, the holder of the Rushen League title, is currently ranked sixth in the league standings, far behind the top teams.
It is noteworthy that “Mohamed Nour” and “Hamad Al-Montashri” are considered among the most prominent players in the history of Al-Ittihad Club, and they have achieved many important championships and titles with the team, and they also participated in the Club World Cup in 2005.
