
At the central headquarters of the Lebanese Phalange Party in the Saifi area, the party’s head, MP Sami Gemayel, met with the French ambassador to Lebanon, Herve Magro, where they discussed the latest developments and current events on the Lebanese and regional arenas.
This meeting was attended by the political and media attaché, “Roman Calvary,” and members of the Political Bureau, “Fadi Masri,” the former head of the Bar Association, and “George Jomhouri,” in addition to the head of the Foreign Relations Authority, “Marwan Abdullah.”
During this meeting, Gemayel stressed the pivotal role that France plays in reducing tension, praising its continued interest in Lebanese affairs and its constant keenness to achieve stability. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Paris in cooperation with various international and Arab parties to protect the Lebanese people and maintain their security and stability.
Gemayel also thanked France for the urgent military assistance it recently provided to Lebanon, stressing the need to continue supporting the Lebanese army and strengthening its capabilities, as it constitutes a basic pillar for maintaining security and stability, so that it can perform its national duties at this critical stage.
