Following the Beirut raids: an urgent warning to evacuate the residents of Al-Aqibiya south

In the midst of the ongoing military escalation, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to the residents of southern Lebanon, specifically the town of Al-Aqibiya, demanding the immediate evacuation of certain areas.

“Adraee” stated in a post on the “X” platform that “Hezbollah’s activities force the Israeli army to act forcefully against it,” stressing that it “does not intend to harm civilians.”

He added: “We call on the residents of the building marked in red in the attached map and the buildings adjacent to it. You are located near a building used by Hezbollah,” calling for “immediate evacuation and moving to the north of the Zahrani River for safety.”

He also warned that “everyone who is near Hezbollah members, its facilities, and its combat means puts his life in danger.”

This warning comes in light of a noticeable Israeli escalation. Today at dawn witnessed a series of sudden raids targeting the capital, Beirut, bombing residential apartments in the areas of Zoqaq al-Blat, Basta al-Fawqa, and Ramlet al-Bayda, in addition to two raids on the southern suburbs, in one of the largest waves of bombing that the capital has been exposed to since the beginning of the confrontations.

During the past few hours, southern regions witnessed intense raids and artillery shelling targeting a number of villages and towns, which indicates a gradual expansion of the scope of military operations.

These warnings are considered an indication of the possibility of strikes in the specific area, especially with the repetition of the pattern of advance warnings followed by raids in different areas over the past days.

On the other hand, Hezbollah continues its military operations, as it announced the targeting of military sites inside Israel in response to the raids, which reflects the continued escalation on the ground and the exchange of strikes between the two parties.
