The southern front in Lebanon is witnessing, at dawn on Friday, notable developments on the ground, as there is talk of Israeli ground incursions into several border axes, which indicates the possibility of expanding military operations on the ground in conjunction with the ongoing air strikes.
Field information indicates that there has been monitoring of the advance of Israeli forces near the “Al-Taybeh Project” and “Rab Thilaine Town Square” in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, with intense flights of drones and reconnaissance aircraft overhead.
News also circulated of Israeli military movements near the “Acacia Resort,” located between the towns of “Hula” and “Majdal Salam,” while field alert was recorded in the border villages.
In the same context, data has spread indicating that the Israeli incursion towards the “town of Taybeh” has reached a depth of about 6 kilometers into Lebanese territory, which is considered – according to this information – the deepest since the beginning of the current confrontation.
In parallel with these movements, sporadic clashes took place in some border areas, with continued mutual shelling between the Israeli army and Hezbollah at a number of southern points.

These developments come in light of the widespread military escalation witnessed on the Lebanese front in recent days, as Israeli aircraft intensified their raids on several towns in the south, in addition to strikes targeting the “southern suburb of Beirut” and areas in the capital.
This was preceded by Israeli warnings to evacuate specific areas and buildings in Beirut and the “Southern Suburbs” before bombing them, in conjunction with huge Israeli military build-ups on the border.
On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out a series of missile operations and drone attacks targeting Israeli army sites and gatherings in the north, stressing that they came in response to the raids that targeted Lebanese territory.
