Al-Ansar team, the leader of the Lebanese League, regained its right track by achieving a valuable victory over Shabab Al-Sahel with a score of 3-0, in the match that brought together the two teams this afternoon on the field of the Fouad Chehab Sports Complex Stadium in Jounieh. This match was the final round of the sixteenth round, which is the fifth round of the return stage, of the Lebanese General Football League in its sixty-sixth edition.

The match witnessed Algerian Hisham Khalafallah scoring the first goal for Al-Ansar in the 42nd minute from a penalty kick (“Banaleti”), then Mohamed Bou Saleh added the second goal with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, landing to the right of goalkeeper Ahmed Diab in the 88th minute. Ali Taneish “Cissi” concluded the hat-trick by scoring the third goal in the 93rd minute, with a ball that Ali Al-Tayer fired with his right foot after a perfect cross pass from Khalil Badr from the right side.

It is noteworthy that Al-Ansar had suffered its second loss this season in its last match against Al-Riyadi Al-Abbasiya, with a score of 1-2. As for Shabab Al-Sahel, it suffered its sixth loss in the league, maintaining its position in seventh place in the overall standings.
