Revealing the mystery of Dahr El-Baidar awaits Thursday's decisive session

The Dahr El-Baydar explosives file witnessed a prominent judicial and security development, represented by the uncovering of the identity of one of the wanted persons who were unidentified in the case, in conjunction with the preparation for a new phase of investigations that includes interrogating the detainees and summoning the defendants in absentia.

In detail, an additional allegation was registered against the so-called Abd al-Muttalib Nassar, nicknamed “Abu Haider” (born in 1974), after the Intelligence Directorate succeeded in obtaining his full identity, which led to the number of unidentified persons in the file being reduced to four.

In a parallel line, the first military investigating judge, Ghada Bou Alwan, set next Thursday as a date for the interrogation session of the two detainees in the case, namely Haitham Amhaz and Ali Al-Kurdi. This session will be followed by summoning the six defendants in absentia, to complete the judicial process and reveal the circumstances of the file.

It is noteworthy that the Dahr al-Baydar explosives case is considered one of the prominent security files that is subject to extensive judicial and military investigations, following the seizure of a large quantity of explosives inside a car at the Dahr al-Baydar checkpoint. These investigations led to the prosecution of a network that includes detainees and others being pursued in absentia and whose identities are being fully determined.
