Will Bayern Munich be forced to look for a new coach after Kompany's absence was confirmed?

Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Eberle, confirmed that Belgian coach Vincent Kompany will have enough time to recover, noting that his return will not happen within days, but may take several weeks, in light of the continuation of medical examinations to determine the exact nature of his condition and the time required for his recovery.

Kompany, who is 40 years old, suffered a sudden health problem that led to him falling unconscious on Friday afternoon, while he was watching the training of the Bayern Munich reserve team near the club headquarters. Ambulance teams intervened to transport him to the hospital, amid reports that a helicopter was used during the emergency response operation.

For its part, Bayern Munich announced that its coach’s condition is stable, but that he will remain under observation in the hospital for several additional days to complete the necessary medical examinations, at a time when the exact reasons behind the incident have not yet been determined.
