Bayer reaps a special reward after leading Dortmund to topple Frankfurt

Borussia Dortmund’s German striker, Maximilian Bayer, won an exceptional reward after leading his team to a valuable victory over Eintracht Frankfurt with a clean goal, on Saturday, in the German Football League, in a match that witnessed the presence of the English darts star, Stephen Banting, in the stands of the “Signal Iduna Park” stadium.

Following the match, a Dortmund fan took the initiative to give Pair – known for his great passion for the sport of darts – a ticket to attend the quarter-finals of the European Darts Championship held on Sunday in Dortmund, which coach Niko Kovac handed it to him. The striker expressed his happiness to Sky by saying: “I will definitely go tomorrow.”

Paire acknowledged that the presence of Banting, who is preparing to face Welshman Gerwin Price in the quarter-finals, was a great motivation for him, revealing that he had previously surpassed the English star in a previous darts match, stressing that he is the undisputed best in this sport within the ranks of Dortmund. He added that Banting praised his abilities, saying: “I have potential beyond my career,” hinting at the possibility of turning professional in arrows after retiring from the round.

In terms of the transfer market, reports indicate that Borussia Dortmund is planning to renew its attempts to sign promising Polish midfielder Marcel Regula (19 years old) during the winter transfer period, after his name was linked to the team since the summer Mercato. Regula plays for Poland’s Zaglebie Lubin alongside goalkeeper Zlatan Alomirovich (35 years old), a graduate of Dortmund’s youth divisions who has 112 official matches with the reserve team between 2010 and 2015. In this context, Alomirovich sent a message to his colleague on the “Canal Sportovi” channel, saying: “As for the apartment in Germany, as soon as concrete offers arrive, I will help him choose.”

In another sporting matter, Niko Kovac sent his wishes for a speedy recovery to Bayern Munich’s Belgian coach Vincent Kompany, calling for him to be given sufficient time to recover. “The most important thing at this stage is to give him calm, he needs time, because we all know how demanding a coaching job like this is,” Kovac told Sky Channel before the match, adding: “Like all football fans, I wish him all the best, and that he recovers quickly and returns to the field.”

It is noteworthy that Kompany had suffered a health problem that knocked him to the ground, on Friday, at the Bayern training center while following the reserve team’s training, and as a result he underwent treatment and examinations in a Munich hospital. Although sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that his condition is stable, he is likely to be absent from the team for most of the coming weeks.

Borussia Dortmund is playing a busy schedule of decisive matches, as it prepares to meet Werder Bremen, on Tuesday, in the German Cup, before hosting its rival, Bayern Munich, next Saturday, at the top of the local league.
