The city of Tripoli is preparing to receive the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, tomorrow morning, Saturday, for an official visit accompanied by extensive security and regulatory measures, including the transportation and traffic sector along the main road in the city.
In this context, the Tripoli Traffic Detachment issued field directives by distributing warning leaflets, prohibiting the parking of cars permanently along the highway connecting Al Nour Square and the Al Bahsas area.
The Directorate explained that the parking ban will be implemented as of four o’clock in the afternoon today, Friday, October 23, 2026, and will continue until midnight on Saturday – Sunday, October 24, warning that the competent authorities will immediately seize any vehicle that violates these instructions.
