“Caviar”, a company specializing in modifying luxury electronic devices, announced the launch of a new collection called “World Treasures”, which is based on the “Apple” foldable phone “iPhone Duo”, replacing its outer shell with precious materials including 18-carat gold, platinum, natural diamonds, and enamel used in the jewelry industry, while keeping the internal specifications and basic components of the phone unchanged.
The collection includes four models inspired by diverse artistic and cultural traditions. The most expensive version, called “Dali,” tops the range at $90,290; It is inspired by the works of the Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali, with an 18-carat gold body, layers of purple enamel, and an “Apple” logo studded with 36 natural diamonds, according to a report published by the “gizmochina” website and viewed by “Arab Business.”
The “Jingtai Blue” version comes at a price of $80,290, and is inspired by the traditional Chinese enamel technique dating back to the Ming Dynasty, while the “Qasr Al Noor” version is offered at a price of $73,000 as a single model based on 950-purity platinum with “arabesque” decorations inspired by the architecture of palaces in the Middle East. At the same price of $73,000, the “Omkara” version comes with an 18-carat gold case, with the Indian spiritual symbol “Om” in the middle and a red enamel medallion surrounded by 36 diamonds and engravings of lotus flowers.
To ensure exclusivity, Caviar decided to limit production to very limited numbers, with only seven units of the “Dali”, “Omkara” and “Qasr Al Noor” editions, and only eight units of the “Jingtai Blue” edition. Each phone is delivered inside a luxurious wood and leather presentation box, inside a lockable 24-carat gold-plated case.
This collection comes as an extension of the company’s trend in transforming smartphones into ultra-luxury pieces whose value depends on handcraftsmanship and precious materials. This comes after the recent launch of the “Black Edition” versions of the “iPhone 18 Pro” and “iPhone Duo” phones without cameras, in addition to another group of “iPhone 18 Pro” phones made of 24-karat gold, titanium, and carbon fiber.
