Lebanese MP Ashraf Rifi launched a sharp attack on the political reality in the country, criticizing the path of collapse of the foundations of state building, and questioning the directions towards which the Lebanese Republic is moving.
In a post published on his official account on the “X” platform on Tuesday, Rifi began his criticism by saying: “Greetings and blessings today must be directed to the Escobars of Lebanon!” He continued by saying: “Congratulations to you, the non-charter republic, the republic of recovery, the republic of weapons, and the republic of drugs!”
Rifi denounced this reality by saying: “Is this how the republic is built according to the new Lebanese way?” He concluded his post by saying: “How miserable these days are! And tomorrow will soon be seen by its supervisor.”
It is noteworthy that Representative Rifi’s positions came in a general context of extremism, and without specifying by name any party or political figure targeted by these criticisms.
