Stable and warm autumn weather will dominate Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean until tomorrow, Sunday, when it will turn volatile until Monday night and gradually stabilize. It is expected that the region will be exposed next Wednesday to a depression centered over the Greek islands that will be accompanied by relatively cold air masses and bring with it heavy rains, active winds, and thunderstorms.
Average temperatures for October: Tripoli between 20 and 28°C, Beirut 21 and 29, Zahle between 13 and 27°C.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Saturday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with high clouds and local fog at moderate heights. Temperatures will rise slightly and be above their seasonal averages.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with moderate to high clouds, with fog over the average highlands. Humidity will rise and clouds will thicken starting at noon, and the weather will be ready for scattered local rains, especially in the southeast of the country, accompanied by active winds.
Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with dense fog, starting from low altitudes and an additional drop in temperatures. Scattered, heavy rain falls at times, especially in the north of the country, and is accompanied by thunderstorms and active winds.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with high clouds, a slight rise in temperature and a decrease in humidity.
Surface winds: westerly and northwesterly, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
Visibility: Good on the coast, sometimes bad at medium heights due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 85%
