The Iranian Fars Agency announced that the Iranian Armed Forces dealt with, last night and the previous night, 19 ships that attempted to cross unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
The agency explained that 7 ships described as “violating” were targeted last night, while 12 other ships were targeted the night before.
The agency linked these developments to what it described as the “false claim” of US President Donald Trump regarding “full US control over the Strait of Hormuz.”
In the same context, Iranian officials had previously confirmed that ships that cross the specified routes without obtaining an Iranian permit will face retaliatory measures from the armed forces.
