South Lebanon is witnessing a continuous field escalation, including a series of air strikes, bombings, and Israeli military movements targeting the border strip and areas deep in the south.
In the field details reported by the correspondent of the “Lebanon Debate” website, the Israeli army carried out a bombing operation in the town of Markaba, coinciding with the burning of a number of homes in the town of Mansouri.
In later developments, the Israeli army carried out another bombing in Wadi Saluki, followed by a series of separate bombings that affected the towns of Al-Mansouri, Deir Suryan, and Zawtar Al-Sharqiya.
This ground bombardment and bombings were paralleled by intense air activity. The Israeli warplanes flew at low altitude in the airspace of the south, before carrying out a raid targeting the eastern town of Zawtar from the direction of Mifdoun, followed by another air strike with two missiles targeting the town of Kafr Tibnit.
This continuous escalation, accompanied by intense flights of military and reconnaissance aircraft and repeated raids and bombings inside border towns, keeps the security scene in the south open to various possibilities and developments.
