Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Lebanese Gulf Councils, Hadi Soubra, praised the strong return of Lebanese exports to Saudi markets, considering that this step represents a positive and important indicator of Lebanese products regaining their presence and position in the Kingdom’s market.
Soubra explained, in a statement, that what was announced by the Minister of Agriculture, Nizar Hani, regarding the export of about 2,000 tons per day of Lebanese agricultural products to Saudi Arabia is a very important development, and confirms the high demand for the Lebanese product and its ability to regain its position in this vital market.
He pointed out that this return holds good omens that contribute to restoring economic and trade relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia to their normal path, in addition to opening broader horizons for cooperation and trade exchange in various fields, pointing out that Lebanese agricultural products have always enjoyed the demand of the Saudi consumer, stressing that the current numbers reflect this demand amid expectations that exports will rise to about 3,000 tons per day.
At the conclusion of his statement, Soubra thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its constant support for Lebanon and for standing by its side, affirming full solidarity with it in the face of the attacks it is being exposed to, and wishing the Kingdom, its leadership and its people continued security and stability and the continuation of the path of progress and prosperity.
