In a related context, a former Kuwaiti minister stressed that “cooperation between the Gulf states and Israel to repel common threats and maintain the security and stability of the region will be a win-win for all.”
The former minister added that recent developments have resolved the debate about the nature of the regional threat, noting that Tehran continues its attacks on the Gulf states, while Israel is confronting Iran and destroying its military capabilities that were directed against neighboring countries.
These data are consistent with statements made by the Israeli ambassador to the UAE, Yossi Shelley, to Israel Radio this week, in which he expected a new country to join the “Abraham Accords” in the coming months, suggesting that Kuwait would be the next stop.
