Apple announced that iOS 27 will be available for download next Monday, according to what was stated in the iPhone 18 Pro press release. The update includes iPhone 11 and later devices.

The launch of iOS 27 coincides with the updates of “iPadOS 27”, “macOS Golden Gate”, “watchOS 27”, “tvOS 27”, and “visionOS 27”, and these updates focus mainly on fixing errors and improving system speed and performance, in addition to adding the features of artificial intelligence “Siri AI” to devices that support Apple Intelligence.

Apple has currently made available the “Release Candidate” version of iOS 27, after the end of the “Surprise and Shine” event, during which it revealed the “iPhone 18 Pro” and “iPhone Duo.” It is expected that the final version will be close to this version when it is released to users on September 14.

Apple said that the new Siri AI will be available simultaneously with iOS 27 in a beta version, without specifying a date for the launch of the final version.

A separate update, likely iOS 27.1, is scheduled to arrive in October, adding Siri AI support to other languages, including French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Apple aims to make the new personal assistant available in all languages supported by Apple Intelligence, but the timetable for achieving this is still unclear.

For users of iPhone 15 and older devices, iOS 27 focuses on making the system faster, addressing errors and making general improvements. Apple indicates that AirDrop will become more reliable, that photos will upload more quickly, and that battery life may improve.

As for users of “iPhone 15 Pro” and later devices, they will receive an improved “Apple Intelligence” platform and new “Siri AI” features, after bypassing the waiting list for access to them.
