The company launched the two phones in four colors: dark black, silver, ice, and burgundy.
Siri, the voice assistant powered by Apple’s artificial intelligence, comes at the forefront of software updates, as the assistant is now able to understand the context of previous requests and screen content, and benefit from user data to provide more personalized responses.
Siri can also search for information within messages, emails, and photos, and use information available online, in addition to performing tasks that require using more than one application at the same time. Apple also provided a separate application for Siri to continue previous conversations and requests.
The new artificial intelligence features extended to a number of Apple applications, including Photos, the Safari browser, messages, and email. Some tasks will be processed directly on the device, while more complex tasks will be sent to a secure cloud infrastructure dedicated to data processing.
Siri, powered by artificial intelligence, is scheduled to be released in a trial version later in 2026, and will initially be available in English only. The service will not be available when it is launched in the European Union and China, according to the information.
