Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the mission to overthrow the Iranian regime still exists, noting that Israel is “close” to achieving this goal, according to what was reported by the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

Netanyahu’s words came during a celebration he held on the occasion of the Hebrew New Year, accompanied by Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, and members of the Israeli Army General Staff Forum, in the Kirya Hall in Tel Aviv.

Netanyahu said: “I am confident that we are able to remove this threat once and for all, and overthrow the Iranian regime that is struggling to survive,” adding: “I say to our enemies: Do not mess with us. We have the strength, determination, and internal unity to overcome you.”

He continued, “This regime is currently reeling, and is weaker than ever before,” considering that “overthrowing this regime is the main task that is still ahead of us, but it is close, and not impossible, but within reach.”
