US President Donald Trump has increased his attack on Tehran, putting living conditions within the military establishment and dealing with protesters at the core of his criticism, amid his talk of a humanitarian crisis that requires immediate action.
Trump said, “The failed Islamic Republic of Iran is not paying the salaries of large segments of its military, while at the same time killing demonstrators, even when they are not protesting, at unprecedented levels.”
Trump added, in a post on his “Truth Social” platform, “This is a massive humanitarian crisis, and it must stop now.”

Trump’s position comes within the framework of an escalation of his rhetoric towards Iran, as in his post he combined accusing the authorities of not paying the salaries of large sectors of the army and criticizing their dealings with the demonstrators, before describing the situation as a massive humanitarian crisis and calling for it to stop immediately.
