The prospective deal was described as “double” because it seeks, along with Omar Marmoush, to include Brazilian player Savio Moreira de Oliveira.
It is not clear what value Manchester City set for releasing the two players, but the club expects to make significant profits from selling both of them.
Savinho had joined Manchester City in 2024, coming from French club Troyes, for 30 million pounds sterling. Tottenham had been interested in him since 2025, but he preferred to stay. However, he participated in only 7 starting matches in the league last season and became open to leaving.
As for Marmoush, he joined City in 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany for 59 million pounds sterling (approximately 80.4 million dollars), and scored 8 goals in 36 matches in all competitions, but his role declined under the leadership of Pep Guardiola during the 2025-2026 season.
