The head of the Arab Tawhid Party, Wiam Wahhab, launched a sharp attack on the process of handing over the “Brigade,” accusing Iyad Al-Hazzaa of interfering in the work of some state officials, and pointing out that Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Mitri is managing the process under his direction.
Wahhab wrote, in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “Iyad Al-Hazzaa is a new High Representative. From a war criminal to the ruler of some state officials. Shame, God shame.
He added: “Despite the request for political asylum, they insist on handing over the general, and Tariq Mitri is managing the operation under the guidance of Al-Hazza.”
