Today, Monday, a body was found in a manager at SGBL Bank inside his home in the Ghadir locality – Jounieh, with a gunshot wound to the head, while the security services began investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
According to what the National News Agency reported, the body belonged to the citizen “T.R.”, who holds the position of manager in the bank, and he was found inside his house injured by a gunshot wound to the head from a military pistol.
Immediately after the incident was reported, security forces arrived at the scene, along with forensic evidence personnel, and began the necessary field procedures, inspecting the site where the body was found, and collecting evidence that could help determine what happened.
The circumstances that preceded the accident have not yet become clear, nor have the security authorities announced whether the investigations suggest a specific hypothesis, which leaves all possibilities subject to the results of the investigations and forensic evidence.
The investigations are expected to focus on examining the weapon, its location, and the evidence found inside the house, in addition to the available forensic and medical data, with the aim of determining the circumstances of death and the sequence of events that preceded it.
The forensic examination is of fundamental importance in such cases, as the material evidence and reports of the competent authorities form the basis for determining the nature of the incident, apart from any prior conclusions before the investigation is completed.
The case remains under security and judicial investigation until now, awaiting the issuance of additional official information revealing the causes of death and the full circumstances of the accident.
