Representative Bilal Abdullah said that it would be better for some judges not to object to the general amnesty law, considering that one of the reasons for approving the law was the presence of 7,200 out of 9,000 detainees without trial.
Abdullah wrote on the “X” platform: “It would have been better if some of the judiciary had not commented objecting to the general amnesty law, because one of the reasons for the law was the presence of 7,200 detainees out of 9,000 without trial.”
He added that the goal of these votes is to put pressure to restore the law, expressing his confidence that those concerned, while understanding some of their observations, are keen to “turn this page.”
