The General Directorate of Civil Defense issued an urgent warning to citizens and residents against swimming along the Lebanese coast, in light of the high waves and strong sea currents, and the accompanying increasing risks to people’s safety.
The directorate said, in a statement, that it warns of the danger of swimming along the Lebanese coast from Abda to Naqoura, due to the high waves and strong sea currents.
She stressed that these conditions increase the possibility of drowning incidents and endanger the lives of citizens and residents.
