The Israeli “Walla” website reported that Israel is monitoring Hezbollah’s movements in Lebanon, amid Israeli estimates that the party is trying to supply its forces, which the website said are “besieged in its underground positions,” while Israel seeks to locate infrastructure and elements in the Ali al-Tahir Heights and destroy them.
According to Walla, Israel is focusing on monitoring infrastructure sites and elements in the Ali Al-Taher Heights area, as part of its field movements aimed at identifying and targeting these sites.
The website quoted an Israeli security source as saying that Israel’s freedom to respond to any movements by Hezbollah and Hamas remains limited, in light of American pressure linked to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Lebanon.
Walla pointed out that these pressures impose restrictions on the margin of Israeli action towards any movements carried out by Hezbollah or Hamas.
In the same context, the site talked about estimates in Israel indicating that Hezbollah and Hamas are trying to increase the level of tension in coordination with Iran.
Thus, Israeli estimates link the movements attributed to Hezbollah in Lebanon, especially in the Ali al-Taher Heights, with a broader attempt to increase tension in coordination with Tehran, at a time when Israeli sources say that American pressures limit the Israeli freedom of response.
