The “Lebanon Debate” correspondent reported that the south witnessed, from midnight on Thursday until the morning of Friday, August 14, a series of Israeli raids, artillery shelling, and bombings, accompanied by intense, low-level flights of drones and military aircraft in the airspace of a number of towns, all the way to the city of Tyre.
According to information, 3 Israeli raids targeted the town of Al-Mansouri at around 4:30 in the morning, while Israeli warplanes later launched a raid targeting the Masha’ Al-Mansouri area.
At dawn today, Israeli artillery shelling targeted Dabsha Hill, the vicinity of Doha Kafr Rumman, and the outskirts of Mifidoun, coinciding with the throwing of flare bombs overhead.
Ali Al-Tahir Heights was also subjected to Israeli artillery shelling that continued for more than an hour, which in turn was accompanied by the throwing of illuminating shells over the area.
In parallel, a very low-level drone flight was recorded over the towns of Al-Mansouri, Al-Qalila, Al-Haniyah, and Al-Ma’alia, in addition to the southern coastline up to Tyre.
The Masha’ al-Mansouri area witnessed, at midnight yesterday, a massive bombing carried out by Israel in conjunction with the throwing of explosive gallons, while combing operations with machine guns were recorded on the outskirts of the towns of Majdal Zoun and al-Mansouri and the valleys surrounding them, amid continued military and drone flights.
The bombings spread to the towns of Beit Yahoun, Hadada, and Kunine, where a series of massive explosions rang out, the repercussions of which reached coastal villages, coinciding with monitoring the movements and advances of Israeli tanks towards the town of Hadada in the Bint Jbeil district.
The border and interior villages and towns in southern Lebanon frequently witness raids, artillery shelling, and drone flights, in addition to bombings and destruction in a number of areas, while the towns of the western and central sectors and the vicinity of Nabatieh remain within the scope of ongoing field tensions.
