The media office of the Ministry of Energy and Water issued the following statement:
The Ministry of Energy and Water gave the permission to unload the ick III ship loaded with the phoiite, Oil B for the benefit of the Electricity Foundation, after it was found that the three tests were on samples of the fuel that the ship carries, identical to the specifications required by the Electricity Foundation Lebanon. The tests were conducted in specialized laboratories outside Lebanon, which are:
* Bureau Veritas in Dubai.
*Letrina in Greece.
*Amspec in Italy. This step comes in conjunction with the urgent need for the Electricity Foundation for the ship’s ship, which was programmed earlier, before September 8 to avoid Lebanon’s Blackout.
Note that the ministry provided news about the aforementioned ship on 25/8/2025 before the discriminatory public prosecutor, which is still following its investigations into the matter until now. Based on its indication, the third examination was conducted at the amspec laboratory in Italy and its results came as the previous two examinations. We also confirm that the discharge decision comes in order to preserve the rights of the state after the supplier company received the quantities of crude oil from the Iraqi oil marketing company “Sumo” based on the contract contract signed between the latter and the Lebanese Energy Ministry. Performance Bond in the event that the supplier company is claimed after the investigations of any criminal offense proven the company’s violation of its contractual obligations. In conclusion, the Minister of Energy and Water is the Country Jeet I am keen on public money than anyone and adopts transparent procedures that the ministry has not been accustomed to before.
