In Yarzeh, the army commander received a delegation headed by Barak

The commander of the army, General Rudolph Haykal, received, in his office in Yarzeh, a delegation from the US Congress that included Senator Jin Shaheen, Senator Lindsay Graham, Representative Joe Wilson, along with the US special envoy Tom Barak and his Middle East deputy Morgan Ortigos, in the presence of the American Ambassador to Beirut Lisa Johnson and a companion delegation.
During the meeting, the general situation and developments were discussed in Lebanon and the region, in addition to ways to support the army in light of the current challenges.
