Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee announced that the forces of the 91st Division operating in southern Lebanon found an underground tunnel in the town of Majdal Zoun, containing hundreds of weapons and four firing bays directed towards Israel.

Adraee said that the forces are carrying out operations in the Majdal Zoun area, located at a depth of about 10 kilometers inside Lebanese territory, noting that field data showed that the town includes a large number of military infrastructure.

He added that the forces found an underground tunnel that is more than 200 meters long and more than 25 meters deep, and includes 12 rooms, including sleeping rooms and others designated for storing explosive devices, anti-armor missiles, and drones, in addition to four launching hatches.

According to Adraee, military operations in the region resulted in the killing of more than 20 Hezbollah members, including more than 10 members of the “Al-Radwan” unit, in addition to the destruction of more than 50 military infrastructure, including surveillance sites and weapons depots.
