Members of the Lebanese Civil Defense extinguished a fire that broke out in a field planted with wheat in the town of Jeb Jannine – Western Bekaa, as a result of an electrical short in one of the electricity poles located inside the field.
The elements were able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring lands, which prevented the fire from expanding and contributed to limiting the damage.
The General Directorate of Lebanese Civil Defense confirmed the continuation of carrying out its missions in response to citizens’ calls, in accordance with public safety requirements.
