The media office of the Ministry of Energy and Water announced the completion of the appointment of new boards of directors for the water institutions in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the North, the Bekaa, and the South, pointing out that some of these boards had expired more than 18 years ago, as part of a reform process to fill the vacancies and activate the administration.

Following the appointments, Minister of Energy and Water Joe Al-Saddi held successive meetings with the new councils, calling on them to adhere to transparency and the law to provide the best services to citizens. Al-Saddi also chaired a working meeting with the government commissioners at the water institutions, the National Litani River Authority, and the Electricité du Liban, where he stressed their pivotal role in controlling and regularizing administrative work in line with the government’s directions.
