The weather is finally settling... "The winter is over"?

The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Department in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected that stable spring weather with temperatures below their seasonal averages would dominate Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean during the coming days.

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Friday: Clear to few clouds with an increase in humidity, causing fog to form at moderate heights. Temperatures rise in the interior areas, while they decrease slightly in the mountains and remain unchanged on the coast.

Saturday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with fog in the middle highlands and a drop in temperatures, especially in the mountains. Winds will be active in the evening in the south of the country.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a rise in temperatures, especially in the interior areas. Winds are active in the evening in the south of the country.

Monday: Cloudy to partly cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures, especially on the mountains and inland, and fog on the highlands, with no significant change on the coast.

Surface winds: southwesterly to westerly during the day, weakly variable at night, with speeds between 10 and 25 km/h.
Visibility: Good on the coast, sometimes bad on the highlands due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: between 65 and 85%.
Sea condition: calm.
Water surface temperature: 23°C.
Atmospheric pressure: 1013 HPA, equivalent to 760 mm Hg.
Sunrise hour: 05:27.
Sunset hour: 19:45.
