The head of the Lebanese Phalange Party, MP Sami Gemayel, visited Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Government Palace, where he congratulated him on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, and discussed with him the general situation and current political developments.
During the meeting, Gemayel affirmed the Phalange Party’s support for the government and its president in the face of “repeated threats calling for its overthrow,” stressing that “no one can stop the path to restoring state sovereignty.”
He said, “The language of betrayal and threats will not work. Rather, it will increase our determination to continue working to restore the prestige of the state and give hope for a better future for all Lebanese.”
