Reports indicate that the upcoming version iOS 27 will introduce new tools based on artificial intelligence, in addition to additional options for customizing the camera application, as part of a broader trend to improve the system’s performance and enhance its ease of use.

These changes come one year after the launch of the “Liquid Glass” design in iOS 26, a design that sparked controversy among users and critics. Some felt that it was less visually attractive and made interacting with the phone less easy. However, this design is not expected to see major changes in the new update.

According to a report issued by Bloomberg, in iOS 27, Apple will focus on developing artificial intelligence features, improving performance, and introducing modifications aimed at increasing the efficiency of the system in general, instead of making radical changes in the design interface.

The company is expected to unveil the new update during its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June of each year, where it showcases its most prominent software innovations. A trial version is often launched after the conference, before the update is officially released in conjunction with the launch of new iPhone devices in September.
Reports indicate that artificial intelligence will be the focus of the new update, especially with the continued development of the “Siri” voice assistant. Apple is working to completely rebuild “Siri” to become more capable of conducting two-way interactive conversations, and taking advantage of user data to provide a more personalized experience, with a new interface that may appear within the “Dynamic Island” area at the top of the screen.

The camera application will also witness a redesign that allows users to customize settings more easily via “widgets”, in a move aimed at improving flexibility of use.

In addition, the “Safari” browser and the “Weather” application will receive minor design updates, without adding major functional changes, while other updates include general improvements in performance and system stability. (Russia Today)
