Norwegian Erling Haaland, the English Manchester City striker, is preparing for his first cinematic appearance, through a voice performance for the “Viking” character bearing the same name, in an animated film, directed by Norwegian director Harald Zwart, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
The American newspaper said: “Haaland will participate with his voice in an animated film, to present a version of himself, embodying the character of a Viking, an ancient Norwegian, called “Haaland.” This film is classified within the framework of comedy and adventure, and its events take place in the world of brave warriors, icy fjords, and the legends of the Silk Road.
He added: “Erling has already become a true symbol of Vikings around the world: strong, brave, and a true Norwegian. His integration into this world gives the film an unexpected energy and authenticity, which fits perfectly with this story.”
The film, which will also feature singer Rita Ora, is scheduled to be released later this year. (Sky News Arabia)
