Mina Bonino, wife of Real Madrid player Federico Valverde, responded to rumors of a violent quarrel between her husband and his colleague Aurelien Chouamini, attacking the media and critics through her Instagram account.

Bonino said in a post on the “Story” feature: “I am tired of these people. I am tired of people who speak without any inhibition. What do they want more? What evidence are they looking for?”

She added, “I tried to resolve the matter privately, but people are hypocrites. They pretend to be nice to me, then spread dirty things,” stressing that “speech, defamation, and distorting people’s reputations have consequences.”

Bonino, who is six months pregnant, indicated that she is going through a sensitive stage, saying: “I should have been concerned about my child’s health, but there are people who are constantly attacking me without any reason. Enough, it has gone beyond the limit.”

Valverde’s wife denied that any quarrel had occurred, explaining that her husband’s injury was the result of a head bump, and said: “Fede Valverde hit his head, so he wears a hat. There is a wound that cannot be seen because of the hat, but it is not the result of a punch because no quarrel occurred.”

She concluded in an angry tone: “This is my account on Instagram, and this is my family, and I do not have to explain or clarify anything. Leave me alone.”

Media reports had claimed that a quarrel had occurred between Valverde and Chouamini at Real Madrid’s training center, which the two players denied, while the club confirmed that the injury was the result of a training accident. (coora)
