The Minister of State for Administrative Development Affairs, Dr. Fadi Makki, received in his office at the Ministry today, Director of the World Bank Group Office in Lebanon, Enrique Blanco Aramas, and ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry and the World Bank were discussed, especially with regard to administrative development programs and digital transformation in the public sector.
The meeting focused on the Lebanon Digital Transformation Acceleration Project (LDAP), worth $150 million, funded by the World Bank under the supervision of the Ministry of Administrative Development, and ways to accelerate its implementation and enhance its impact in modernizing public services and simplifying procedures were discussed.
The possibility of allocating a percentage of the loan value through the Contingent Emergency Response Project was also discussed, allowing support for the Lebanese state’s emergency needs when necessary and enhancing preparedness in the face of crises.
