English journalist Ben Jacobs spoke in a new episode of the “Talk Sport” program about the latest developments regarding the future of Mohamed Salah, who has already announced his departure this summer from his English team, Liverpool.

The Egyptian star spent nine years at Anfield, during which he led Liverpool to several English Premier League titles and winning the Champions League.

Salah (33 years old) is preparing for a new adventure, and Jacobs says that the striker does not lack offers.

Regarding the possibility of him playing in the American League, Jacobs said: “Everyone in the American Football League underestimates the idea of signing Salah.”

He added: “I spoke to Sir Mohamed Mansour, the owner of the San Diego Club, who is British-Egyptian in origin. Let us not forget that. I asked him the question just three weeks ago on Talk Sport: Will you sign Salah? He replied: (Well, if it were up to me, I would, but it is not in line with our model) which relies more on young players.”
