First Lady Nemat Aoun received at the Presidential Palace in Baabda the head of the Michel Daher Foundation, Marlene Daher, accompanied by her honorable Miss Perla Michel Daher, where they discussed the current conditions and social challenges that the Lebanese are suffering from, amid a common aspiration towards a new phase called stability and recovery.
The meeting covered a review of the most prominent development activities and projects implemented by the Foundation in Zahle District, where Daher expressed her appreciation to the First Lady for her previous visit to the Foundation’s headquarters in the town of Ferzal. The two sides also touched on a number of pressing humanitarian and social issues, with a particular focus on ways to enhance the role of women in public life and expand the scope of their effective participation in Lebanese society.
At the conclusion of the visit, Daher congratulated the First Lady, wishing her success in her duties, and praising her continued efforts and remarkable dynamism in the social and humanitarian sectors.
