Finance issues a final warning to employers to settle their tax situations before the opportunity is missed

The Ministry of Finance issued a statement calling on employers wishing to benefit from the settlement of verification and collection fines related to income tax on salaries and wages, to adhere to a maximum deadline of October 31, 2026.

The Ministry explained that this settlement includes fines issued pursuant to self-assignment in accordance with Resolution No. 835/1 issued on September 18, 2026, stressing that benefiting from the expected reductions is exclusively conditional on submitting late data or permits and paying dues within the specified deadlines.

The Ministry stressed the necessity of submitting late data or permits related to Part Two tax before the expiry of the deadline, in parallel with paying the reduced fines and the value of the tax if due, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of the aforementioned decision.

The Ministry of Finance concluded by emphasizing the importance of the initiative of those concerned to complete their transactions before the aforementioned date, in order to avoid losing their legal right to benefit from the benefits of this settlement.
