The Ministry of Youth and Sports mourned, with great sadness and sorrow, the late Ahmed Danish, President of the Lebanese Mini Football Federation, former President of the Asian and Arab Football Federations, former President of Al-Shabab Al-Ghazieh Club, and former member of the Board of Directors of Al-Ansar Club.
In a statement issued by her on the occasion of the passing of the founder of the Lebanese Mini Football Federation following a long illness, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Nora Bayrakdarian, said that his death constitutes “a great loss to the Lebanese game and sports.” Bayraqdarian praised the deceased’s illustrious administrative career and his extensive network of relationships locally, Arably and internationally, which he harnessed in the service of his country, in addition to his fame for his affiliation to the various regions of Lebanon, his movement between its villages, and his constant standing by its clubs with their various orientations.
The Minister concluded her statement by offering “sincere condolences to the Lebanese Mini Football Federation, its large family, the family of the deceased and his small family.”
