Bayram: The idea of resistance remains, and we will not relent or retreat

Former Minister Mustafa Bayram affirmed that “resistance is an idea that will not die and will continue as long as there is someone carrying its banner,” stressing the necessity of adhering to unity, solidarity and awareness in the face of American and Israeli pressures, and rejecting attempts to drag Lebanon into internal strife.

Bayram’s statements came during the honoring ceremony held by Hezbollah for the martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyr Mujahid Hussein Younis in the town of Najariya.

Bayram pointed out that “the killing of Hussein has a heat in the hearts of believers that will never cool,” considering that what is happening now represents an Israeli attempt to achieve political gains that it was unable to extract militarily. He warned of the American pressure exerted on the Lebanese state to push it towards confronting the resistance, while turning a blind eye to the ongoing Israeli attacks.

Regarding internal affairs, Bayram pointed out that “the resistance defends Lebanon and others, and rejects Lebanon to be of one color, but rather wants it to be a pluralistic homeland,” considering that this formula constitutes the actual opposite of the racist entity.

He saw that the United States and Israel are gradually losing their ability to coerce and persuade, in light of the growing global awareness and the transformations taking place in the region, especially the role played by the “Ansar Allah” group in Bab al-Mandab.

Bayram called for adherence to awareness, unity, solidarity, and field presence, with the need to pay attention to the slogans raised, most notably “weapon exclusivity.” He wondered about the fate of the weapons collected from the South Litani area.

He concluded by stressing that “American pressure aims to relieve Israel,” stressing that “the resistance will not retreat or weaken, and that it derives its steadfastness from the sacrifices of the martyrs and its belief in its cause.” He concluded his speech by chanting “At your service, O Nasrallah,” and saluting the martyrs of various affiliations and civilians.
