A sovereign cry from Mansouriya: a strong political denunciation of what happened in the sewage networks

Lebanese MP Jamil al-Sayyid commented on the Syrian authorities’ announcement of the arrest of retired Brigadier General Meraj Oral, following information that he had been kidnapped from his home in the Mansouriyah al-Matn area.

In his post on the “X” platform, Al-Sayed reported that the Syrian authorities officially announced the arrest of Oral, noting that he had received information from the Lebanese security services indicating that unknown gunmen stormed the house of the retired brigadier general last night, and proceeded to handcuff his wife and son before taking him to a destination he described as “information.”

Al-Sayed pointed out that the name Oral was not previously common or known in the Lebanese arena, concluding his post with a sarcastic statement in response to the incident, saying: “And sovereignty is crying in the sewer.”
