Embarrassing Al-Sadi with a parliamentary question from George Atallah about comprehensive government files

Political tension escalated against the backdrop of the Minister of Energy and Water, Joe Al-Saddi, announcing his retirement from attending cabinet sessions, as MP George Atallah directed sharp criticism at the minister, considering that his position regarding the government’s collective responsibility for the electricity file raises questions about the previous positions of the “Lebanese Forces” party regarding energy ministers affiliated with the “Free Patriotic Movement.”

In his post on the “X” platform, Atallah commented, saying: “Energy Minister Sadi is secluded and says: I am secluding myself from attending cabinet sessions, and in the end the electricity problem concerns all the Lebanese, which means it concerns the entire government.”

Representative Atallah paused at the phrase “it concerns the entire government,” and asked in mobilizing language: “I mean, when your group was attacking the Minister of Energy of the Hani Movement, the Ministers of Forces were concerned because the file concerns the entire government?”, concluding his post with a sarcastic phrase: “Creativity.”
